da betano casino: Kalvin Phillips has come on leaps and bounds since Marcelo Bielsa arrived at Elland Road in 2018.
Indeed, the midfielder has gone from languishing in a team finishing 13th in the Championship to being the star man in a genuine promotion contender and being touted for an England call-up.
Unsurprisingly, the 23-year-old attributes a lot of his development to the manager.

What’s been said then?
Phillips was speaking in a video package produced by Sky that aired before their match against Reading on Tuesday (Sky Sports, 26/11 7:30pm).
The midfielder was asked about what it’s like to work under Bielsa.
“I never thought I’d be able to do this well.” Phillips said.
“I think it’s just the way he makes us train 100 per cent every game, he makes us watch videos on our games and goes back and tells us what we’ve done wrong and what we’ve done right.
“And positional play, I felt like I could play anywhere in midfield, but he knew what position was best for me, and he knew where he wanted me to play and I think with his style and the way that he’s nurtured me to play in that position I think it’s been a massive help to me.”

Bielsa’s eye for talent
There’s no doubting that Bielsa has been a massive help in Phillips’ development, but every single player in the Leeds squad has trained 100% every week, and not every player has improved in the way he has.
The true masterstroke here is the Argentine’s eye for talent.
The 64-year-old knew exactly where Philips’ best position would be, and his performances over the last 18 months or so indicate that he hasn’t got it wrong as the midfielder made the Championship Team of the Season last year and he’s been touted for an England call-up in recent weeks.
When you watch the midfielder it looks as if he was born to play in Bielsa’s system, but it’s the Argentine’s ability to spot that talent and utilise it that has made him the player he is today.
