da esport bet: Several Liverpool youngsters had a night to remember in their trip to MK Dons, but for Ki-Jana Hoever it could live longer in the memory.
The defender made only his second first-team appearance for the Reds and put in a positive display, helping his team to keep a clean sheet.
However, his towering header in the second half doubled his team’s lead, making him Liverpool’s fourth-youngest goalscorer of all time, behind Michael Owen, Ben Woodburn and Jordan Rossiter.
His face when the ball struck the back of the net says it all, and it is likely a feeling that will stay with him for some time, perhaps spurring him on to do his utmost to get back in the first-team.
To make things even better for the Dutchman, he was able to celebrate alongside his under 23s teammates’ Rhian Brewster [pictured], Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott and Caoimhin Kelleher, all of whom started on the night.

The 17-year-old himself admitted that the mix of youth and experience was the perfect environment for him to play in, and speaking to LiverpoolFC.com he said his first goal was definitely one he would remember.
“I have never scored before for Liverpool in the U18s or the U23s so it’s the first one for Liverpool and I’m really happy.
“I think that’s the perfect way to start learning how to play for Liverpool, how they want to play, with some experience in the team. I think it’s nice to have a few youngsters [in the team].”
Liverpool’s progression in the Carabao Cup could mean there are further opportunities for Hoever to impress, and if he shows his quality against better opposition than League One MK Dons, he could become a regular fixture in the matchday squad.
