The 29-year-old was arguably Tottenham’s best player against Manchester City in the Premier League on Monday night, however.
Indeed, Sissoko could not prevent his team from suffering a 1-0 defeat, but there were plenty of positive signs from the powerful midfielder.
And his performance has not gone unnoticed by the Spurs supporters.
Indeed, many took to social media in the aftermath of the one-goal defeat to lavish praise on the 53-time France international.
