Manchester United certainly fall in that camp, with Jose Mourinho not making a single addition to his first-team squad.
That being said, the Red Devils did some decent business on the outward front, recouping most of their original investments in Memphis Depay and Morgan Schneiderlin despite the duo not making a single Premier League start under Mourinho.
But whether the United boss has done enough to guarantee his side a top four finish this season, or for that matter, boost its chances of winning the EFL Cup and FA Cup – the Red Devils’ likeliest chances of silverware this term.
