Marcelo Bielsa has previously been hailed as the greatest coach in the world, but some Leeds fans are pretty annoyed with him at the moment.
It doesn’t take a genius to tell you why. The Whites have won just two of their last nine league games, and they look to be in real danger of falling out of the automatic promotion spots.
So what is Bielsa doing wrong? Well, some United supporters believe that his tactics have been figured out in recent weeks, and his lack of a plan B is costing the team dearly.
While it’s a fair criticism that the manager doesn’t have a plan B as he rarely deviates from his initial set up, the fact of the matter is that he shouldn’t need any other methods.

The Whites dominate almost every game they play – they’re top of the xG table by some way – and on Saturday they created 12 more chances than Wigan.
Jack Harrison and Patrick Bamford both missed golden opportunities, and if those were put away the Yorkshire club would have had the three points in the bag.
Bielsa’s plan A isn’t the problem, it’s his players’ inability to put the ball in the net, and that’s something the manager can’t control.
Is it the Argentine’s fault that Harrison failed to convert his opportunity? No, but it is his training and tactics that sees Leeds dominate games in such fashion.
United fans have got one of the best managers in the world at the helm at Elland Road, and his style of play is not only a joy to watch, but it’s also effective. However, no matter how many opportunities his team carve out, if there’s nobody there to finish them they won’t win games.
Bielsa doesn’t need a plan B, he just needs his players to finish their chances while playing plan A.
In other news, Leeds’ fate could be all but decided in the next few weeks.
