da apostebet: AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stated that his side are still hopeful of landing Carlos Tevez on loan in January, and stated that Paris St Germain have entered the race to sign the Argentina international.
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admitted recently that the current Premier League leaders were keen to sell Tevez rather than send him out on loan, with a move in the next transfer window looking likely after the South American forward’s turbulent last few months at the Etihad Stadium.
Despite the Scudetto holders preferring to take Tevez on loan rather than on a permanent basis in the new year, Galliani is still confident a deal could happen.
“We know City’s desire is to the sell the player, our proposal is to loan him and hope City say yes,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“I’m neither optimistic nor pessimistic. I can certainly say the player would prefer to be at Milan but you have to convince City to send him out on loan and that’s not easy.”
Corinthians and Boca Juniors are both interested in bringing Tevez back to South America, and may be ready to pay City’s transfer fee demands come January, but Galliani believes another big-spending side may be ready to enter the bidding.
“Yes it’s true, PSG are also in the running although I haven’t heard from their sporting director Leonardo,” he confirmed.
